What a week. And its only Wednesday. It’s also the so-called birthday of the United States and I wonder what’s going through the minds of many of us as we observe this day with the backdrop of Supreme Court rulings that feel politically motivated, a disastrous presidential debate and an election looming in the fall.
Today I talk about what the recent Supreme Court rulings mean for the poor and working class, especially those experiencing homelessness and those who need help from a regulatory agency. And I also share my love for The Bear, the series that shows love to working class Chicagoans and their daily fights to survive and thrive in the face of adversity.
Thanks for listening. You can also find a transcript to the show here.
